A group protesting against detention of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality co-Mayors Gültan Kışanak and Fırat Anlı, have also been taken into custody. Former deputy and now KJA Spokesperson Ayla Akat as well as Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality General Secretary Zülküf Karatekin are also among the detainees.

Çimen Işık, Pero Dündar, Olcay Kanlıbaş from Democratic Regions Party, and Free Woman Congress Member Zozan Toprak have been arrested.
