The Turkish Armed Forces hit 16 PKK targets in the Kandil region in Northern Iraq. According to the news agencies located in Northern Iraq, the fighter planes hit six villages.

The court has fined daily Hurriyet’s reporter and managers for conducting an interview with the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK). They were accused of “publishing the comments of the terrorist organization” and “doing propaganda work for the PKK”.

"Hürriyet" journalists Karakurt, Tatlican and Kilic will have to pay a total of 60,500 YTL for their feature on Kandil mountain.
