Report: No women guests appeared on 77 percent of discussion programs in six months
Less than 10 percent of the guests on discussion programs were women in the second half of the last year, according to a new report by KA.DER.

‘Not a Single Woman MP Elected in 20 Provinces All Though Republican Era’
There are 589 MPs in the Parliament and only 102 of them are women. In the last local elections, there were 8.257 mayor candidates and only 652 of them were women, accounting for 7.89 percent of all candidates.

According to the figures announced by the Association for Supporting of Women Candidates (KA.DER), the number of women neighborhood and village heads has increased from 674 to 1,065 in March 31 local elections.

The women's organization KA.DER issued the third "Report on the Representation of Gender Equality in Turkey". Turkey, "still resisting to gender equality on the 100th anniversary of the World Women's Day on 8 March", gained zero credits in the 2010 report.
