HRW calls for investigation into public officials for collapsed buildings in earthquake
Human Rights Watch has called for an investigation into public officials responsible for the collapse of buildings in the February 6 earthquakes. According to HRW, criminal investigations and prosecutions should be initiated against public officials who failed to perform their duties adequately, and this should not lag behind the prosecution of those responsible in the private sector.
