The world's second-largest fashion and clothing retail chain, Sweden-based H&M, has terminated its supplier relationship with Akın Tekstil, the company that fired shots at a trade union president. Akın Tekstil's portfolio included some of the world's largest clothing brands.

The commercial negatively affected the mental, moral, psychological and social development characteristics of children and young people, according to the Ministry of Trade.

As the Koop-İş Union and Sweden-based clothing-retail company H&M cannot agree on a collective labor agreement, the union has decided to go on a strike. The strike of H&M workers will start on October 4.
