Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli has announced the fill rate of dams that provide water to İstanbul and Ankara. If no precipitation falls, the water in these water bodies will be enough for nearly 3 and 5 months respectively.

Fill Rate of Water Reservoirs in İstanbul Dams Increases by 4 Percent in One Day
As a result of torrential rains holding out in the city since January 5, the fill rate of water reservoirs in the dams of İstanbul has increased from 39.31 percent to 43.77 percent in a day. Rainfall and storm are expected to continue in the city today.
