Placed under house arrest after being detained as part of the operations against the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP), journalist Pınar Gayıp has been released from house arrest.

Police intervened into the press statement of the groups that would declare the establishment of the United Struggle Forces in İstanbul’s Kadıköy district. At least six people were reportedly taken into custody during the intervention.

Detained as part of the operations against the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP), five people have been arrested, five people have been placed under house arrest and 37 people have been released on probation.
