Hamburg State Court has imposed interlocutory injunction on some parts of the poem about President Erdoğan read by comedian Jan Böhmermann.

Mainz Prosecution has launched an investigation into Böhmermann who has written and read a poem on a comic programme about President Erdoğan in Germany on charges of “insulting representatives or organs of foreign states”.
