Arrested due to his social media posts on October 24, journalist Emre Orman has been released from prison upon the objection of his lawyers.

Speaking at the statement on the arrest of journalist Orman, his lawyer has said, “A very simple investigation report was shown to us. But, the day after, we saw that we were faced with something much bigger. Our right to defense has been restricted.”

Taken into custody yesterday due to his social media messages, journalist Emre Orman has been arrested on charge of “propagandizing for a terrorist organization”.
