Journalist Tamer Brought Turkish Court to Adopt ECHR Decision
Milliyet newspaper writer Tamer won her case at the ECHR regarding alleged insult of former President Demirel. Nonetheless, Tamer applied for a new trial before a domestic court that eventually decided for Tamer's acquittal.

20-Year Deadlock: Forced Migration and Refugees
Lawyer Bingöl criticized the lack of an effective domestic remedy for damages caused by forced migration and argued that the law on compensation created a deadlock. Bingöl called for rehabilitation programs and effective structuring procedures for forced migrants.
