Holding their first meeting on January 18, seven political parties met again in Ankara. Making a statement after the meeting, the parties have expressed their support for peace against war, for labor against exploitation and for life against plunder of nature.

HDP Spokesperson Günay says, “We find the Democracy Alliance important not only for the elections. We want to represent the third way outside the statist blocs and to realize the dream of a democratic country in favor of peoples.”

Upon the call of the HDP, a series of socialist political parties and groups met in the capital city of Ankara. Sharing a message following their first meeting, they have decided to “incorporate all democratic, left, socialist and revolutionary forces of Turkey.”
