Turkey Convicted of “Unexpected Death of Soldier”
The European Court of Human Rights issued a verdict yesterday on the case of Yılmaz Köse, a private who allegedly committed suicide during his compulsory military service. Finding Turkey guilty of conduction an adequate investigation, the court ordered Turkey to pay 10,000 euros.
