A boat carrying refugees has capsized on Lake Van while docking in the district of Adilcevaz in Bitlis. Seven people have lost their lives in the incident and 64 people have been rescued.

An inflatable boat with 16 people on board have capsized on its way from Ayvalık in Balıkesir to the Lesbos Island in Greece. Six people, three of whom were babies, have lost their lives, one person has gone missing and nine people have been rescued.
