Forests the size of 3,000 football fields razed in wildfires in Turkey in 2020

270 fires in 53 cities in 13 days: Fires still rage in Milas and Köyceğiz
270 forest fires broke out in 53 provinces of Turkey in 13 days. All fires, except for the ones in Muğla’s Köyceğiz and Milas, have been contained. The Minister of Forestry has said that volunteers can make an online application to join firefighting efforts.
