An Istanbul court decided for a 1 month ban of weekly Aydınlık newspaper under allegations of spreading propaganda for a terrorist organization.

A court closed down Aydınlık magazine for 1 month and collected the latest issue because of alleged "Ergenekon terror organization propaganda" and making the prosecutor "a target for the organization". The IPI Local Committee and the Turkey Journalists Association sharply criticised the decision.
