Opposition politicians have blamed the government for encouraging attacks on the HDP after today's armed assault and arson attack.

The İzmir provincial organization building of the Peoples' Democratic Party has been attacked. HDP MP Murat Çepni has announced that party worker Deniz Poyraz has been killed in the attack, which is later confirmed by the İzmir Govenor's Office.

The fire possibly erupted because of an arson attack, according to the Adana governor.
