The Lawyers’ Union has shared the results of a survey conducted with the participation of lawyers: Most lawyers earn less than the referral fees recommended by bars; their income can only cover their food-beverage, housing, transportation expenses.

According to a report released by the Diyarbakır Bar Association, last year, at least 69 lawyers, including former bar chairs, faced at last 78 lawsuits and investigations over their institutional and professional activities.
