“Apaydın Camp May Be Playing a Role in the Syrian Conflict”
Parliament’s Human Rights Commission paid a visit to the Apaydın camp that hosts Syrian rebels in the southern province of Hatay. Opposition MHP Deputy Atilla Kaya said the camp could be providing logistical support for the rebels fighting in Syria, while Kerim Özkul, a deputy of the ruling AKP, denied claims that the camp serves as a training base.

FM Davutoğlu Defends Prohibition of Entry into Syrian Rebel Camp
After security forces denied opposition deputies access into the Apaydın Camp that hosts fighters of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the southern border province of Hatay, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu issued a statement defending the status of the camp as a forbidden zone.
