Court blocks access to news report that led to detention of five journalists
The journalist who reported on the reassignment of a married judge and prosecutor presiding over the same case was remanded in custody. Four others, including a bianet editor, were briefly detaining for retweeting a post containing this information.

Court Abides By Constitutional Court’s Ruling, Lifts Access Block on bianet News
In the wake of Constitutional Court’s verdict that an access block imposed on a news report on bianet “violated freedom of expression”, the İstanbul 7th Penal Court of Peace has abided by the verdict and ruled that the access block in question shall be lifted.

Media Freedom Activists Bring Lawsuit against Google Ban
Akdeniz from Bilgi University and Altıparmak from Ankara University will appeal to the ban of certain Google services imposed by the Telecommunication Communication Presidency. bianet.org publication coordinator Kürkçü criticized the restrictions which directly harm the work of bianet. The Turkish Journalists Association and Reporters without Borders condemned the ban.

MÜYAP: No Intention to Block Access to Last FM and MySpace
MÜYAP chairman Forta claimed: "Ownership rights are stolen, we fight for our right. Turkish law blocked access to the websites". Forta argued that MÜYAP agreed with MySpace and that the site can be accessed again within a few days.
