28.3 percent of young people in neither education nor employment
Youth population constituted 15.4 percent of Turkey’s population in 2020. Their rate of enrollment in higher education dropped. The rate of those in neither education nor employment increased from 26 percent in 2019 to 28.3 percent in 2020.
