The Supreme Election Council (YSK) Chairperson Ahmet Yener made his fifth announcement concerning the results of the May 14 presidential and parliamentary elections.
Yener stated that as of 09:45 am, 192,187 out of 192,214 ballot boxes where votes have been cast inside Turkey have been counted.
"This is 99 percent of the inland ballot boxes. The number of ballot boxes not yet counted are 27," he said.
"We had 9,594 ballot boxes abroad and the number of ballot boxes where the counting is completed is 8,065," the chairperson informed.
"There are 1529 abroad ballot boxes that have not yet been counted," he added. Accordingly, the ratio of the ballot boxes in which the counting has been completed is 84.06 percent.
With this data, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has received 49.40 percent, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, 44.96 percent, Sinan Oğan 5.2 percent, and Muharrem İnce 0.44 percent of the votes cast for presidency, Yener announced.
