Yozgat Governor Kemal Yurtnaç has spoken about shutting down venues serving alcohol.
Stating that they closed the venues upon the demands by women, Yurtnaç said the money coming from beet is “spend at inappropriate places” and the purpose of closing the venues grounded on the State of Emergency is to “protect family”.
The Governor Yurtnaç briefly said:
“Approximately 200 million TL come to our city from beet. People spend that money at inappropriate places. The bars and taverns we closed were the ones that our women have been complaining about. We did this to protect family.
“Any practice directed at protecting the family life is our duty”. (ÇT/TK)
