Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak MP, Ferhat Encü stating that civilians doing border trade on Roboski village of Uludere district in Şırnak province have been attacked, said that as many as 30-40 people had to run into the other side of the border following the incident in which 18-year-old Vedat Encü has lost his life.
Encü noted that there is no life safety of the civilians left on the other side of the border.
Encü: Same place, same time
On the other hand, Encü speaking to Dicle News Agency (DİHA) remarked that the attack took place at the same time and place as in the massacre killing 34 in 2011.
Encü saying a second slaughter attempt occurred before finding out the perpetrators of the Roboski Massacre, recorded that the ambulances weren’t dispatched to the scene as in the Roboski Massacre.
Encü in his evaluation to BBC Türkçe expressed that five people two of whom have been severely wounded in the attack.
AA and DHA: They attacked on the post
State-run Anadolu Agency (AA) and Doğan News Agency (DHA) as to the incidents in Roboski stated that the people in the area were not civilians and that attacked with long-barreled weapons on Kanimasi Top Zone on Iraqi border.
The AA and DHA expressed that the attack was retaliated and one lieutenant lost his life in the conflict. (EKN/TK)
