The website of Dicle News Agency (DİHA) has been blocked for the 43th time this year, and of Özgür Gündem daily for the 2nd time this month.
According to the report of DİHA no reason has been declared for the block.
Following declaration of Telecommunications Communication Presidency (TİB) subordinated to Information and Communication Technologies Authority appears on DİHA’s website "dihahaber.win" with regards to the access-block.
“On grounds of the technical examination and legal evaluation in accordance with the Law No. 5651, Telecommunication Communication Presidency referring its decision No. 490.05.01.2016.-111138 on 26/07/2016 imposes an ADMINISTRATIVE INJUNCTION” on this website (dihahaber.win)”.
Also the website of Özgür Gündem daily "ozgurgundem1.com" blocked by TİB on July 1 earlier; has also been blocked for the second time. The declaration concerning the access-block on the website reads as follows:
“On grounds of the technical examination and legal evaluation in accordance with the Law No. 5651, Telecommunication Communication Presidency referring its decision No. 490.05.01.2016.-111139 on 26/07/2016 imposes an ADMINISTRATIVE INJUNCTION” on this website (ozgurgundem1.com)” (BK/DG)
