The imprisoned presidential candidate of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Selahattin Demirtaş, who has been held in Edirne Type F Prison since November 4, 2016, has sent a voice message from prison.
In the message posted on Twitter by the Diyarbakır MP of HDP Ziya Pir, Demirtaş has said,
"Everyone should feel at ease. We are in very good spirits and good health here, we are taking good care of ourselves. We become happier and all the more exuberant as we get the messages coming from outside. Every single piece of happy news coming from outside is a source of good spirits for us. The sole guarantee of our health is also our people. Everyone should feel at ease. Everyone should try to contribute solely to the election works." (ŞA/SD)
