Defeating the Rexona-Sesc from Brazil with a score of 3-0 in the final match of 2017 FIVB Women's Club World Championship, VakıfBank Women's Volleyball team has become the world champion.
Winning victory in the final match played in Kobe province of Japan, VakıfBank has won its second title as world champion.
Eczacıbaşı VitrA Women's Volleyball Team had won the victory in 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship last year and was the first team to become world champion for the second time in a row.
Two teams representing Turkey played in the finals. Eczacıbaşı VitrA, last year's champion, also representing Turkey, ranked at the second in its group this year and has lost against VakıfBank with a score of 3-1 in the match on May 13. (HK/DG)
