The US delegation has come to Turkey to discuss the extradition of Fethullah Gülen to Turkey in the wake of the July 15 coup attempt.
The government had requested “urgent arrest and extradition” of Gülen from the US where he is residing as part of the investigation launched into “Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ)” following the July 15 coup attempt.
A delegation of four people consisting of three from the United States Department of Justice and one from the US Department of State arrived in Ankara last night (August 22), the state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

The delegation will be presented with four separate extradition files as to Gülen by the ministerial bureaucrats as part of the talks that will last for two days.
Tomorrow US Vice President Joe Biden will come to Ankara. Biden will meet with Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım.
