Two soldiers lost their lives in an attack by the Peoples' Protection Units (YPG) in Syria's Afrin, the Ministry of National Defense has announced.
The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) responded to the attack and "neutralized" at least three YPG members, according to the ministry.
Turkey and its Syrian allied groups captured Afrin, a Kurdish-majority region in northwestern Syria, in late March 2018 a two-month offensive dubbed as the "Operation Olive Branch." (EKN/VK)
