While many TV and film productions have been canceled in Turkey and around the world, some still continue.
TV crew members and actors have launched a campaign on social media, calling on companies to cancel productions "before entertainment turns into sorrow."
Cinema-TV Union has also released a statement addressing the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), the country's broadcast inspection authority, saying that it was "unacceptable to endanger TV workers for the entertainment of those who stay home."
The union also said it will publish the names of the production companies if they won't cancel TV series.
Since the disease spread to Turkey, the government has canceled all mass events and shut down cafes and bars while advising people to stay home. (AÖ/VK)
