The Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that it found 365,424 new Covid-19 cases and 157 people died of the disease between July 18 and 24.
More than 265,000 people recovered from Covid in a week, according to the ministry figures.
The country's official death toll stands at 99,341, with over 15.8 million cases.
At the start of June, the ministry switched to publishing Covid updates on a weekly rather than daily basis due to the decreased infections.
However, since mid-June, the number of weekly new cases has increased 30-fold.
The Turkish Medical Association (TTB) said on Twitter, "In conditions where public health measures are abandoned, our people in the risk groups are being sacrificed. What is being waited for to take measures?"
The TTB has been urging the government to bring back some of the Covid measures, such as the indoor mask mandate. (VK)
