Türkiye's unemployment rate stood at 10.1 percent in July, 0.3 points down from the previous month, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
The number of the unemployed dropped by 113,000 to 3.44 million in July, according to the figures.
The unemployment rate was 8.6 percent among men, and 13.1 percent among women.
The broad unemployment rate, termed as "idle workforce" by TurkStat increased by 2 points to 22.5 percent.
Women's employment
The employment rate was 47.3 percent, with a 0.3 point decrease in a month.
The number of employed persons was 30.6 million in July, decreasing by 148,000 in a month.
The employment rate was 64.6 percent among men and 30.3 percent among women.
The labor force decreased by 262,000 to 34 million in a month. Labor force participation rate was 52.6 percent, decreasing by 0.5 points compared to the previous month.
Men's labor force participation rate was 70.7 percent, and women's was 34.9 percent.
Youth unemployment
The unemployment rate in the 15-24 age group was 19.1 percent in July, down by 0.8 points from June.
In this age group, the unemployment rate was 16.2 percent among men and 24.7 percent among women.
The average weekly working time decreased by 1.2 hours to 43.1 hours in July. (HA/VK)
