Turkey's domestic producer price index (D-PPI) increased by 105.01 percent on an annual basis in February, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
The monthly increase in the PPI was 7.22 percent and the 12 months rolling average increase was 56.83 percent in February.

In terms of the four main sectors of industry, D-PPI increased annually by 98.70 percent for mining and stone quarrying, by 97.86 percent for manufacturing, by 202.51 percent for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, and by 33.73 percent for water supply.
The indices of main industrial groups increased by 115.13 percent for intermediate goods, by 69.20 percent for durable consumer goods, by 70.00 percent for non-durable consumer goods, by 188.47 percent for energy, by 71.90 percent for capital goods, annually.
D-PPI in four main sectors of industry increased by 6.39 percent for mining and stone quarrying, by 5.60 percent for manufacturing, by 24.66 percent for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, by 7.37 percent for water supply, monthly.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 5.33 percent for intermediate goods, by 7.66 percent for durable consumer goods, by 5.38 percent for non-durable consumer goods, by 19.98 percent for energy, by 4.79 percent for capital goods, monthly.
The lowest rates of annual increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were the indices for water; water treatment and supply services by 33.73 percent, for wearing apparel by 34.41 percent, for basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations by 37.68 percent.
The highest rates of annual increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were indices for crude petroleum and natural gas by 213.67 percent, for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 202.51 percent, for coke and refined petroleum products by 198.88 percent. (AEK/VK)
