Turkey is the third country in the world that offers the cheapest citizenship to a family, according to figures compiled by Sözcü.
Antigua and Barbuda, an island country lying between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean is the cheapest country that offers citizenship in the world. It is enough for a family to pay 140,000 dollars to have a passport from this island country.
The second cheapest country to obtain citizenship is Dominica. It is enough for a person, and their family as well, o deposit 200,000 dollars into the fund created in the country to have a national passport.
Turkey is the third country in the world to obtain the cheapest citizenship. It is possible to have citizenship of Turkey with the purchase of real estate worth 250,000 dollars in the country. The whole family of the person who buys that real estate is granted citizenship as well.
Several global consultancy companies provide services to those who want to obtain Turkish citizenship. On the websites of these companies, it is written that the Turkish citizenship processes are completed within 120 days from the application.
It has been stated that among the advantages of obtaining citizenship are being able to enter 110 countries such as Japan and Singapore without a visa or by obtaining a visa from the border gate.
