Trustees Appointed to 3 Municipalities in Bitlis
Trustees have been appointed to municipalities of DBP-governed Hizan, Mutli and Yolalan in Bitlis. The number of DBP-governed municipalities to which trustees have been appointed has increased to 49. 70 co-mayors are under arrest.

Trustees have been appointed to Bitlis’ Hizan, Mutli ve Yolalan municipalities, governed by the Democratic Regions Party (DBP).
Hizan Co-Mayor İhsan Uğur, Mutki Co-Mayor Özcan Birlik and Yolalan Co-Mayor Felemez Aydın were arrested on December 20.
Hizan sub-Governor Bülent Hamitoğlu has been appointed to Hizan and Yolalan town municipalities and Mutki sub-Governor Mehmet Kılıç has been appointed to Mutki municipality as trustees.
A trustee was appointed to Bitlis Provincial Municipality on November 27.
As of December 26, the number of trustees appointed to DBP-governed municipalities has increased to 49. There are 70 co-mayors from 46 DBP-governed municipalities under arrest. (ÇT/TK)
