Speaking before leaving the White House for the Presidential retreat Camp David, Trump also addressed the withdrawal of the US from Syria.
Reiterating that he has not set a timetable for the withdrawal of US troops from Syria, Trump made the following remarks about Turkey: "Turkey hates ISIS, maybe not as much as we do..."
Who hates ISIS the most?
In his statement for the press, President Trump also stated that "US will have forces in Syria until the unspecified defeat of the ISIS."
Regarding the levels of dislike of different countries for the ISIS, Trump said, "Iran hates ISIS more than we do if that is possible", adding that "Russia hates ISIS more than we do."
"But these are countries that hate ISIS, and they can do a little bit of the fighting in their neighborhood also because we are fighting them in their neighborhood," said Trump. (PT/SD)
