In Turgutlu District of the western Manisa province, the trailer of a tractor carrying agricultural workers was rolled over. 11 people, 3 of them being children, were injured in the incident.
The accident happened at around 10 a.m., near the İzzettin Bridge over the Gediz River.
Medical and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the crash site following notices by people around. Paramedics rushed the wounded to Turgutlu State Hospital in ambulances.
The emergency services said the injured are in good health and the gendarmerie launched an investigation into the accident.
The names of those injured in the crash are as follows:
Sevim Özkaşıkçı (49), Emel Andıç (47), Hanım Toprak (49), Melek Toprak (16), Şaziye Ünlü (58), Evin Türk (38), Melek Türk (15), Aslı Öztürk (16), Bayram Sarıkaya (18), Gizem Öztürk (18) and Sevda Toprak (18). (EMK)
