At least 3 workers died in a coal mine in the sourtheastern province of Şırnak due to a subsidence.
The workers Emin Baysal, Ahmet Baysal and Selahattin Uçar lost their lives due to a subsidence in a coal mine in Şırnak province.
The subsidence occurred in a private coal company located on the piedmonts of Mountain Judi on Wednesday around 2 pm local time.
While search and rescue teams were sent to the incident zone in order to save the isolated workers, they didn’t go down the coal mine for long time due to a gas leakage.
The dead bodies of three workers were found around evening hours. The death cause is supposedly related to gas poisoning. (EKN/CB/BM)
