On the occasion of November 25 International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Legal Aid Office Against Sexual Harassment and Rape in Detention has released a report on its 24 years of work.
"For many years, we have always observed that the state's mind has never changed on the issue of state-induced sexual violence against women," the group said in its statement.
"Sexual torture on women and trans women by official forces during detention, house raids, or streets demonstrations always ends in impunity.
"Not a single officer has been sentenced so far in the cases we have filed regarding the women applied to us. This is the clearest indication of how dire the situation is."
