Workers climbed onto the roof of the provincial directorate
Today, seven out of the 120 FEDAŞ workers involved in the resistance climbed onto the roof of the Fırat Elektrik Tunceli Provincial Directorate with a banner that read "Keep your promise, fulfill the demands, Aksa."
Following the workers' ascent to the roof, the police, fire brigade, and ambulance teams also arrived in front of the building. It was also learned that the relatives of the workers were present in front of the building.
"The company is responsible for whatever happens to the workers"
Workers, chanting slogans like "Don't sleep, stand by your workers, there is no peace without work and bread," stated that they will not come down from the roof until their demands are met.
In a social media post by DİSK/Enerji-Sen, it was stated, "Those responsible for anything that may happen to our friends are everyone from the FEDAŞ Tunceli provincial director to the regional director in Elazığ, and up to the executives of Kazancı Holding Aksa Company, who have been delaying their workers for weeks."
The workers on the roof had received support from their colleagues gathered in front of the building. Addressing company officials, the workers said, "What more do we need to do for you to hear us, to see us?" (VC/PE)
