Speaking to reporters after AK Party Central Executive Board meeting on Friday, Firat said, "it is necessary to present TCK draft to Parliament together with Code of Criminal Procedure (CMUK). Because they are completing each other."
"TCK draft will be taken up two weeks later. It can be reconsidered when new members of Justice Commission are elected after October 1st," added Firat.
Firat said, "by the time Commission members are elected, we will discuss new TCK draft."
When asked whether adultery will be included in the new TCK draft again, Firat said, "I cannot tell anything at the moment. Anyway, adultery cannot take part in CMUK. The draft TCK is withdrawn and we are discussing two articles at the moment." (GC-ULG/YE)
