The eight persons escaping to Greece on helicopter following the coup attempt, have been brought before Dedeağaç Court in Greece.
The eight are being charged of entering a country illegally and attempting to detract the relations with a neighbour state are expected to testify today.
Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras had shared on Twitter that “He was for democracy and constitutional order”.
Following the coup attempt on July 15, the respective eight persons had escaped to Greece on a military helicopter.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu holding a statement on the issue had noted; “Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Koçias, whom I have talked to on the phone has noted that the 8 traitors who have escaped to Greece would be extradited to Turkey as soon as possible. (EA/DG)
