Teacher’s lodgings threaten 'legal action in case of behaviour against public morality’

The administration of Şehitlik Teacher's Lodgings in Turkey's southeastern Diyarbakır province have specified a series of house rules to be observed by the residents and pinned them on the boards of the lodgings.

As reported by Mezopotamya Agency (MA), the document pinned on the boards and doors has listed 31 rules to abide by.

Legal action when not obeyed

Listing 29 rules, the document has highlighted the last two ones in bold and said, "Houses are for dwelling, they cannot be used as a workplace or in a way against public morality. Don't allow the ones who use them as such. Otherwise, a legal action will be taken against the related person."

The document has also referred to the unmarried teachers residing in the lodgings in following words: "In the event that the single residents of the lodgings are detected to have an attitude or behavior against public morality and to host guests disturbing for other residents, the necessary legal action will be taken against the related persons."
