The pilot of Syrian fighter jet downed by Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) due to border transgression made a press statement in the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
According to Syria News Agency (SANA), the pilot defended himself that he was 7 kilometers away from the Turkish border and he had not transgress the border.
The pilot said he was chasing after the armed terrorists in Qasab district of northern country side of Latakia - a port city of Syria. After he completed his mission, he was targeted by a missile. Following his jet hit, he said he immediately evacuated from his jet, flowing off with a parachute.
“My physical condition is very good. I will leave here and appear in front of you. I will return stronger to the battlefields against the armed terrorists. My determination will never decrease until I exterminate all terrorist groups in my country,” said the pilot. His name was undisclosed. (ÇT/BD/BM)
