Mehmet Pösteki, the owner of the ORC Research company, has shared the results of a recent survey on social media.
Conducted on October 24-27, 2021, the survey results have shown that the margin of votes between the alliances stands at 1 percent.
When the respondents were asked "for which party they would vote in the event of an election", 31.3 percent opted for the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), 26 percent opted for the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), 14.1 percent for the opposition İYİ Party, 9.8 percent for the AKP-ally Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), 8 percent for the opposition Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), 5.1 percent for the DEVA Party of former AKP politician Ali Babacan, 1.1 percent for the Future Party of another former AKP politician Ahmet Davutoğlu and 1.1 percent said that they would vote for the Felicity Party (SP) in case of an election.
According to these survey results, the votes of the ruling People's Alliance of the AKP and MHP stand at 41.1 percent while the opposition Nation's Alliance of the CHP and İYİ Party votes stand at 40.1 percent.
At the last general election in 2018, the People's Alliance received 53.7 percent of the votes while the Nation's Alliance got 32.6 percent. (RT/SD)
