The center-left Republican People's Party (CHP) has more than doubled its support from 6.9 percent in July to 14 percent in late August when Kemal Dervis, the popular former economy minister joined the party.
Support for Turkey's sole legal pro-Kurdish party, the People's Democracy Party (HADEP), has increased from 3.6 percent to 5.8 percent.
Genc (young) Party set up by a young Turkish entrepreneur doubled its support from 2.5 percent in July to 5.1 in late August.
The percentage of people who are still undecided fell from 25.4 percent to 20 percent.
Support for the far-right Nationalist Action Party (MHP), which is one of the coalition parties, and currently the biggest party in parliament, fell from 10.6 percent in July to 6.1. A support of 6.1 percent would not be enough for MHP to break the election barrier and be represented in the parliament.
Support for Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit's Democratic Left Party (DSP), has further fallen from 2.1 percent to 1.1 percent. According to the poll, Motherland Party (ANAP) has lost support from 7.5 percent to 3.5.
The results of the poll indicate that if elections were held tomorrow, none of the parties currently being represented in the parliament, would break the 10 percent election barrier required to get entry into the parliament.
The New Turkey Party (YTP), one of the opposition parties in the parliament headed by former Foreign Minister Ismail Cem, had a support of 7.5 percent in July. As Kemal Dervis, the popular former economy minister joined CHP instead of YTP, support for Cem's party fell to 3.7 percent.
Support for the True Path Party (DYP) fell from 9.5 percent to 8.8 percent. Support for Felicity Party (SP) has doubled its support from 1.9 percent to 3.5 percent.
The poll shows that if elections were held tomorrow, none of the parties that gained entry into the parliament in 1999 elections would be able to break the election barrier and get represented in the parliament.
According to the poll released by Deutsche Bank, the percentage of support for parties is as follows:
