The "BOUNSergi" group at Boğaziçi University hung photos at the South Campus of the university on Friday (May 19) photos criticizing the inability of the government during the February 6 earthquakes.
Three university students were taken into custody while they were coming out of the campus.
In a post shared from the "Boshorous Resistance" (Boğaziçi Direnişi) Twitter account, it was announced that the students spent the night in custody and were subjected to strip search during their detention.
"The sanitary peds they needed were not provided. They were not allowed to see their lawyers. We will call those who made our friends subjected to inhumane conditions to account for it," the post said.
Dün gözaltına alınan üç sıra arkadaşımız geceyi nezarethanede geçirdi. Arkadaşlarımız çıplak aramaya maruz bırakıldıklarını belirtti. Ped ihtiyaçları karşılanmadı. Avukatlarıyla görüşmeleri engellendi. Arkadaşlarımızı insanlık dışı koşullara maruz bırakanlardan hesap soracağız.
