İstanbul Governorship in its statement announced that 44 people have lost their lives,in the attack launched at Atatürk Airport International Terminal at around 10 p.m. Three suicide attackers also lost their lives in the attack..
We are sharing the life stories of those who lost their lives in the attack so they won't remain as numbers.

Kerime Amiri (24), Zehra Amiri (18), Meryem Amiri (14) ve Hüda Amiri (9)
Amiris were in İstanbul as a whole family. The attack occurred as Abdülmümin Amiri left to get baggage car. Abdülmümin Amiri’s daughters Kerime, Zehra and Meryem Amiri and his grandchild Hüda Amir lost their lives.
Habibullah Sefer (26)
Sefer was from Afghanistan. He had graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Management last year. He had a textile shop in Zeytinburnu. He was at the airport to welcome his friends.
Hüseyin Tunç
He was teacher Kağıthane Gültepe Industry Vocational High School. He had gone to the airport to meet his friends coming to İstanbul from Kilis where he used to teach.
Muhammed Eymen Demirci (25)
He was a graduate of İstanbul University, Faculty of Communication. His beloved ones said he actually wanted to become a journalist but started to work as Turkish Ground Services (TGS) personnel to school his sisters 1.5 months ago.
Merve Yiğit (22)
She was working as part-time cook for almost three years at a restaurant in the airport. She was a public relations student. She lost her life at the hospital where she was taken to.
Ferhat Akkaya (42)
He was from Ordu. He had gone to the airport to meet his friends.
Serkan Türk (24)
He had recently graduated from Gym Teaching. He was at the airport with his mother to welcome his neighbor’s mother.
Fathi Bayoudh
Medical Brigadier General Bayoudh was citizen of Tunis. Tunisian security sources stated that Bayoudh came to Turkey to bring his son joining the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) back to Tunis.
A Tunisian security source speaking to Reuters noted that Bayoudh’s son was detained on Turkey-Syria border and spoke as follows: “Bayoudh went to Turkey to see his son. His son had joined the ISIS with his girlfriend in Syria a few months ago. Bayoudh’s son had travelled with his girlfriend a few months ago who studied at the Medial Faculty with him. His father attempted several times to convince him to return”.

Graduated from Tourism and Hotel Management, Özgül İde had just started to work at TGS.
Erol Eskisoy
The taxi driver Erol Eskisoy had taken his clients to the airport.
Abdulhekim Buğda
He was working at the TGS. Eastern-Turkistani origin, it has been determined that Buğra posted "we are safe" on Facebook following the explosion and that lost his life at the hospital where was taken for treatment.
Göksel Kurnaz
He was working at a shopping center management company. Kurnaz whose family resides in Ordu province was married for two years.
Murat Güllüce
Güllüce was translator. He was working at a hotel. He had gone to the airport to take the tourists.
Mahmut Çizmecioğlu
He was working at the TGS.
Umut Sakaroğlu
He was Customshouse guard. He intervened in the suicide attacker.
Mustafa Bıyıklı (51)
Bıyıklı (51) was taxi driver and father of three. His funeral was held yesterday.
Çağlayan Çöl (27)
He was alotment officer at the Turkish Airlines (THY).
Ertan An
He was from Dersim, Pertek. He owned a cargo company. He had gone to the airport to deliver cargo. His body was sent to Dersim and that funeral was held in Yenibosna Djemevi.
Yusuf Haznedaroğlu
Haznedaroğlu was working at the THY. The attack took place as he was waiting for shuttle. Haznedaroğlu woul get married in 10 days.
Gülşen Bahadır
Bahadır was computer engineer, working at the TGS.
Sıddık Peçenek
He was hotel employee. He was waiting for tourist cortege when the attack occurred.
Mahmut Mert
Mert was working at the TGS as ground services officer.
Adem Kurt (32)
Kurt was control officer. He had started the job last year.
