Soldier taken over control on İstanbul Boğaziçi Bridge have surrendered at 06.40 a.m. Almost 50 soldiers have been taken into custody by police. The bridge has been opened to traffic again. People who have gone on the streets in the meanwhile have attacked the soldiers and the assailants have been heard shouting, “throw them down the bridge”.
State-run Anadolu Agency has reported that the number of soldiers taken into custody countrywide was 1374.
