Home raids were carried out by teams from Ceyhan District Security Directorate in district of Ceyhan, Adana last night (April 11). Eight people were detained due to their social media posts on charges of “propagandizing for an illegal organization” and “insulting President”.
The suspects’ homes were searched and then the detainees have been taken to District Security Directorate.

The Ministry of Interior previously announced that 337 social media accounts had been investigated and legal action had been taken against 154 people over last week.
