Amid the heavy snowfall in İstanbul since yesterday (March 10), trucks and articulated lorries have been banned from traffic.
In a statement on his social media account, İstanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya has announced that "the entry of articulated lorries and trucks to İstanbul from Anatolia and Thrace has been halted due to heavy snowfall and ice" on the roads. Until further notice, the articulated lorries and trucks in İstanbul have been banned from traffic, the Governor has said further.
